  • News: The SRA takes Pride in a diverse profession

For the first time, the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) is supporting the Birmingham and London Pride festivals.

SRA staff will be joining the Birmingham Pride parade on Saturday 23 May and the London Pride parade on Saturday 27 June. The marches take to the streets of both cities to celebrate lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) culture.

We will also be available at a market stall at the Birmingham Pride event for visitors to find out more information about what we do and why diversity matters to us.

Paul Philip, SRA Chief Executive, said: "We are delighted to support two of the largest Pride festivals in the UK and are looking forward to joining both parades. Encouraging and promoting diversity in the legal profession is important, both for the law firms and for the public who use their services."

Further information about Birmingham Pride is available at www.birminghampride.com, and further information about London Pride is available at www.prideinlondon.org.
