  • Right to occupy Scotland

My father in law passed away in January and my husband is the executor of the will. He has been left the property but my FIL’s partner has been given the right to occupy for a period of 1 year from his death on the condition that she pay the bills/council tax, insurance. It states all costs in relation to the “running of the property”. She has so far failed to keep her side of this and we have evidence she has not been nor seem to have the intention of paying any bills. We are wondering if she is obligated to provide any evidence of this and if we are able to remove her if she is not doing so. Also she is claiming that the boiler is broken and her solicitor is insisting that we get it fixed. We do not have access to any funds. Is it the case we would be expected to fund this ourselves? Many thanks
