Obtaining a previous Will

A Will (subject of dispute) was made 3 weeks prior to deceased passing away with a longstanding terminal illness. A caveat has been placed stopping probate and Larke and Nugus letter sent to the Will drafter. It has come to light that a previous Will was made about a year before death. This Will is held by a solicitor who has not received consent from the executors to release it. Any alternative ways to seek the release of that Will if the executors refuse to consent? Thank you*
