This van is solid! I was passing the VW dealership recently and popped in to look at the new VW California Camper and was surprised at the poor quality of their bed, cabinets and fittings compared to this VW Hofele van. Especially as the new ones are over £60,000!!!
Probably the best T4 camper in europe, if not the world.
This van has been cherish and well maintained, with degree bordering on obsessive with money no object. There's a box file full of receipts of all the new parts/upgrades on the van, too numerous to list. Suffice to say, it’s ready for a very long wait for anything mechanical to need looking at. On the last euro trip (southwest France), it got us there on one tank, fully laden down too (over 40+ miles to the gallon). It works well, a joy to drive.
