I have listed a lot of the main scams about, and I will expand on these as and when.

They are used in all situations, i.e. email, telephone, writing, in person.

They will always be variants or tweaks to these as the scammers evolve their methods, but usually the basic principle is the same. They may use well known

Brands to fool you or link to actual news/events to make the scam more believable

With more access to image manipulation software like PhotoShop, for example, fake documents can be easily produced and replicated to suit.

Some scams are classified in more than one section as they can be used in various situations.
