  • Personal Injury Claim for Minor - advice needed

    Hi Everyone,

Please, some guidance is needed on a Personal Injury claim matter.

Father wants to put in a claim for Disrepair, Harassment and Injury Claim against Landlord. Main injury claim is that damp, excess cold and mould is responsible for his younger son's asthma, and Landlord cutting of Electricity supply responsible for GP visit for a cold and cough that did not respond to home treatment. They got antibiotics plus asthma inhaler for the asthmatic boy. Dad and sons had irritations e.g coughs and breathing problems from the mould spores several times. Landlord also left them with broken boiler for 6 months (4 very cold months)before fixing.

    1. Should Father make a single claim , and include that he wants compensation for injuries to sons?
    2.Should father make a claim naming 3 claimants : Dad, Son 1 + Son 2?
    3. Should father make a separate claim for Son's asthma Injury(be a Litigation Friend), and a separate one for the disrepair and harassment.
    4. Will option 1 suffice?

Pls, kindly advise. Thanks in advance.
