  • Voluntary Termination excess mileage

    Hi all.
I recently contacted SEAT to voluntarily terminate my PCP contract as my financial status had changed.
I paid for wear and tear on the vehicle which I had no problem with as I felt it was justified but recently they have hit me with a bill of nearly £1000 for excess mileage.
After reading other posts on this site I wrote to Seat to tell them I wouldn't be paying.
Yesterday I received a letter from a debt collecting agency. I'm not sure if SEAT have sold the debt or just instructed them on their behalf.
I'm now very concerned that it has gone this far and am worried about credit score and bailiffs.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated
