MET Parking Charge Notice

I park at the train station at least twice, three times a week. For some stupid reason I forgot to buy a parking ticket today, and came home to a ticket on my car from MET parking for £100 reducing to £60 if I pay before 14 days.

I've just recently graduated and barely have the money to cover this. Please can someone offer me some legal advise? I don't want to pay an additional fine but if I don't have to pay at all it would be great.

P.s I have copies of my previous receipts for when I've parked in the past
