I've just parked in a Hospital Car park, visiting my sick mother. The parking system is one of payment on exit. The machine did not give me any change or a receipt. There was no signage on the machine indicating that "No change is given," or that "No receipt available."
I intend to persue the parking company for my change, but is there the possibility of a claim of 'breach of contract' because I parked in the belief that change and a receipt would be provided and it was not.
BTW any monies I can generate will be given to the hospital as a donation. Any info or advice will be greatfully received.
