  • MET parking fine for 2 Macdonalds visit

Hi, sorry if you have covered this before, couldn't find it in forums.
I visited a Macdonalds site in Portsmouth in the evening with my family. The following morning I was in the same area so I visited the same site for breakfast.
Cant say I was even aware that they were monitoring the movement of vehicles.
A few days later I received a notice from MET parking with pictures of me entering the car park in the evening and another of me leaving from the second visit in the morning.
They are accusing me of being in the car park overnight and obviously staying over the allowed time limit.
I wrote back to them saying this was 2 visits and if they reviewed their own images they would see me leaving and returning back the next day.
they have rejected this saying they have looked and found no evidence of any other activity. (Being sceptical I don't think they even looked).
They have said I have to supply evidence that I was at another location overnight, not easy to do!!!
The inference that I left the car there and made my disabled daughter walk home is insulting.
Any suggestions you can give would be great fully received,
    thanks.
