I know some people have answered similar posts about people challenging letters from MET parking services, but I wondered if someone could help with mine.
I recently received a Parking Charge Notice from MET Parking services, which said I stayed within the McDonalds car park longer than the 90 minutes that were allowed. (185 minutes to be exact - Oops)
I must say I didn't see the notice in the car park with these conditions on when I parked up. I then got some lunch from McDonalds and took a leisurely walk through the park not knowing of the 90 minute parking rule.
The letter I received from MET Parking services today contained a photo of my car arriving and leaving the car park which in total was 185 minutes. The notice is asking for £100 with a discounted rate of £50 if I pay within 14 days of the notice issue date.
Should I pay this, or do I have an option to dispute it?
Many Thanks in advance
