  • Ccj on my file for a parking ticket

    Hi ,
this story goes back 2 years,2023 i purchased a new car from a dealer and left my old car there for the dealer as it was a part exchange deal. some time later i got notification through the post of a parking ticket , a site the dealer was on was run by park maven ltd. i phoned him up and informed him of this and he instructed me to send them on to him and he would get this sorted.
around september2025 last year i got a letter from DCBL instructing me to pay or they would take me to court , i then contacted the dealer again to sort this out and why had he not sorted before this he said he would sort it out.
Just before xmas i got a letter from DCBL on instruction from park mavin ltd to say that they had taken me to court i now owe them £306 pounds and have a CCJ on my record. Because of someone's else's shoddy approach to get this sorted out for me.
i have sent numerous emails to the dealer, tried phoning , no reply, numerous email to Park mavin ltd got 1 reply which was no use at all , i tried to explain the situation to DCBL but they would not listen and were very rude and totally unprofessional all they kept saying was " you were the legal owner" pay the money.
I am at my wits end as i do not were to turn its causing me much anxiety and distress when in reality i have done nothing wrong !! can anyone help me out with some advice its causing me so many problems i just cannot cope with this at all .
