Hi. I am hoping to get some advice. My son went into an Iceland car park, he attempted to use the app to pay but couldn't get it to work, so he drove out. He was in the car park for 11mins, the limit before charge was 10mins. He received a letter from Iceland (stating 11mins), he appealed but it was rejected. Iceland have passed the fine to DCBL, his first letter is a Notice of Debt Recovery for £170. He is a student, he does not have the money to pay. Will this charge keep rising? Will it go to court? Any advice is much appreciated. Thank you.
