Hi all,
I'm after some help with a DART charge, I was driving my wife's car on the 29/05/23 and went through the tunnel, we are first time users, that and the fact we were away for the bank holiday, forgot to pay the following day but did so on the 31/05/23 at 07:06 so basically 7 hours past the deadline. I have the receipt etc
Today 14th June, we've received a PCN for non payment dated 13/06/23.
So,
1.does the PCN have to be RECEIVED within 14 days to be valid?
2. given it was paid, in good faith after the BH and as first time users do we have any other grounds for appeal?
3. its offered at 50% off if paid with 14 days, if I challenge it, how long is it likely to take to receive a response and will the 14 days reduced fine be extended?
