Hi hope someone can help, my son has received a letter from Napier parking and Bw legal for £160 for a PCN whilst staying at a hotel driving a courtesy car for work training as he had done on two previous occasions at the same place. The initial PCN had gone to his work due to it being their vehicle and they did and said nothing to him for nearly 2 months , leaving it sat on file until dealing with it. This letter from Napier have passed all dealings to Bw legal who have added £60 to the £100 totalling £160. His booking from work states parking charges are authorised and he had recalled the receptionist telling him parking was free and was also for the month of December when he stayed. I called the hotel speaking to that receptionist (he knew her name being there before) who confirmed what she said was correct and would speak to them to try get the costs stopped , which I said to her there should be no costs! She also asked if he had taken pictures where he parked which I answered why would he ?Anyway obviously he has had no contact at all with Napier or Bw legal and neither have I till I got any info I needed before proceeding. Thank you guys
