Hi,
I have recieved a parking charge notice from G24 for overstaying the time limit.
Reading through various forums, a lot of people say to ignore the charge and subsequent letters and threats.
However a couple of people have posted that they did ignore the letters, and ended up with a CCJ.
I have proof of purchase for various shops on site (via a bank statement rather than a physical receipt). One of the shops (Next) have stated that the parking company should cancel the fine if I show them that I was spending money on site. He couldn't guarantee this though. Is this correct?
Should I ignore all communications completely, or appeal on the basis that I was spending money on site?
A further point to note is that they have captured two photographs of my car. To my eye, my car registration number is very blurry and can not be made out on the exit photo.
Many thanks in advance for your responses.
