A flat sold in my block some months ago, a certain local solicitors was used for the purchase and it all went through without issue.
I am now selling my flat in the same block. It has an identical lease and my buyer is using the same solicitors (different actual solicitor within the firm). He is saying the lease is defective and needs a deed of variation. My solicitor has pointed to the recent sale that his firm managed, that passed without issue, but he won't budge. I've had two other solicitors look at the lease and they agree it is not defective. Basically the buyer's solicitor is refusing to back down to avoid embarrassment. What can I do?
