My son and his partner own a terraced house and there is a retaining wall and shared path with right of access from one end of the terrace. The neighbour next door has knocked down their retaining wall which has caused my sons to start coming away and the path no longer exists. The neighbouring properties are rented. Would I be correct that the conversation needs to be with the landlord? And what might the remedy be? Any advice gratefully received. Thank you.
