My wife and I have obtained a DIP on a new build property under the assumption that the boundary will match the site plan and latest planning permission documents however, now we are ready to finish the reservation of the plot they have given us a document with a "red line plan" that doesn't match the boundary we expected. They obviously want us to sign this document and I highly suspect our future neighbours have already signed theirs.
My question is, how accurate are the boundaries supposed to be in the official planning documents vs. these red line boundaries? Have our neighbours at plot 231 agreed to buy land that should be our side of the fence, and are we buying plot 229 land that should be their side of the fence?
