  • Right to buy in a rural area

I have been living in my wdh property for 15 years with the understanding I could buy my home until last October I got told I did not have the Right to buy or the right to acquire due to not having my home before 2005 and living in a rural area. Homes are still getting sold to tenants in the same area due to them having their tenancy with the council before the housing took over. I would really like to know if it is worth taking this further.
