  • High Court - Financial Settlement including Bankruptcy = never finalised

Around 2006 I separated from my partner and as part of the divorce, they filed for a financial ancillary relief order. During the proceedings in 2008 I filed for bankruptcy and all of the estate went into the bankruptcy. The financial order therefore, never reached a final settlement. I would like to make sure that all financial ties are completed between us, I am remarried but my ex-partner has never remarried. My query is would there be an easy way to complete this financial order that commenced in 2008, or would we need to start the proceedings again from the beginning?
