I recently applied for Financial Proceedings as i've been in a difficult position for too many months and still no certainty/security. Voluntary legal advisors said it was high time. But I now need to speed this all up and get more certainty for maintenance before the next step in the financial proceedings (which is in 2022). The ex is in a non REMO country in Africa and so far has only made a few haphazard voluntary maintenance payments.
I'd really appreciate any experience that anyone has here on applying for a maintenance pending suit - how long does the process take (obviously it's urgent but what does that mean in practice)? I don't have a lawyer as I can't afford one. I assume I have to fill in another Form A to apply for an MPS? Anything else I need to know?
