  • Been suspended for gross misconduct need help ....

I am devastated at this just don't know what to do , I worked at a school last year and had to go on sick after 3 weeks of being there with cancer ,so this year when my ssp was due to end I felt I couldn't go back as I felt ashamed of being off so long so i applied for another school with more hours so I did this on line and attached a separate document stating the reasons of being off and why i wouldn't be putting this school as reference as i thought they wouldn't be able to do one ...Well I got the job and was there for two weeks and was called into the headteachers office and told that she believed I had been misleading , as this sheet wasn't with the application .I was then told by a HR officer later that day I was suspended with pay ,I am truly shocked they called me in a meeting this week I didn't have anyone with me as not in a union I felt interrogated and not able to speak .I have done this job for years and feel so ashamed that all I have done is not check my form , saying why had Not mentioned it .I am so worried about losing my job as I feel this is what is going to happen , how am I going to be able to work again can anyone help ?
