  • Breach of Trust by Employer.

I have worked as a support worker within the NHS for almost 33 years.
In July a complaint was made against me by a Housing Manager and though ridiculous was taken serious by our complaints department who in turn upheld the complaint and informed the complainant 'as there have been similar concerns about Ms Gregorys behavior etc., This complaint was 9.1/2 years ago and to my mind only added to 'add meat to the bone' so to speak. This letter does not inform the Housing Officer how long ago the complaint was (almost a third of my working career ago and to my mind the housing officer should only have been informed that the complaint had been upheld the rest is not their business and has now made my employment all the harder as I have to be involved with this housing officer on a weekly basis.
The original complaint I feel was not dealt with appropriately in the first place as only one witness out of seven was interviewed about my conduct and this was a new consultant who neither knew me nor the workings of our team. The Care co-ordinator who was expected to be interviewed never was and theuir excuse was that she was on annual leave the whole complaint lasted from July to October and this co-ordinator was on holiday for 1 week during that time.
I have been made extremely ill by the whole situation and desperately need some advice.
