  • CDS Delivery company - issues with receiving final pay

Hi, Is anyone aware of this delivery company called CDS CDS Group Ltd (cdsgl.co.uk)?
My son has recently ended his contract with them where he worked as a self employed driver delivering on behalf of Amazon. He hired a van from the company and was paying in excess of £200pw for the hire.

The company have incorporated a few things into the 'contract' which I don't feel are appropriate and need looking into.
    1) The company paid the parking tickets issued to the drivers whilst they were out on delivery jobs, but charged the drivers a £60 admin fee
    2) After ending the contract and off hiring the van, the company are still with holding final pay, even though they have confirmed the van to be in good condition

Despite contacting the depot manager and the company direct, my son is being stonewalled. He has 3 children to look after, and despite finding alternative employment he has had no income for 6 weeks. We want to write a formal letter to the company to request prompt payment of all monies owed, but do not know where to start.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.
