  • Disability Discrimination - Less Favourable Treatment

I was off work with work related stress. Employer constantly tried to get me to return.

While off, I was diagnosed with ADHD & Anxiety officially in Sept & Oct 2018

Nov 2018 - The work related stress aggravator was concluded, I wanted to return to work

DEC 2018 - OH signed fit with physical restrictions I disputed

DEC 2018 - My GP signed me fit

Employer didn't want me to return, and instead paid me suspension. I have their internal emails to prove it.

In this time, jobs were being allocated to 100's of others. I emailed my unhappiness. I was invited to a meeting where 7 jobs where offered to trial. I agreed.......at this stage I am at the final plant search...

Next day they call to say 'sorry, jobs are gone'....I enquire in the next meeting, and I'm told "home workers get priority, local union agreements blah blah blah'

So whats the point in the final stage plant search? Is this process a 'sham' ?

Was I potentially teated less favourably than others, & discriminated, as it says in the Equality Act 2010?
