  • New car can I reject?

I picked up a car in March and noticed swirl marks and hazing. Dealership said will fix but for now take the car and will book in for body shop. They accepted there were marks.

I accepted the car with the issue logged into their app.

On two occasions now they have failed to rectify the swirl marks/hazing and no longer are taking responsibility. In fact I think their machine polishing has made it worse as it seemed they were really harsh with it. However, dealership saying I may have caused it and it’s my word against theirs.

despite me having about 40/50 photos from various days and videos of the marks on the paint. I also have photos of the marks immediately after it came out the body shop with marks still present.

It’s been two months now since getting the car. I highlighted the issue on day one and continued to after they failed to fix it. Can I now reject the car ?
