  • Three phone signal. Want to cancel

    Hi to all.
I took out a phone contract with Mobilephonesdirect November 2019, with Three as the signal provider.
    I get between 0 to 1 bar signal. 2 at a push.
This mostly drops to zero once I make a call, and the call cuts off.
I've rang Three several times, and online chat, but they just kept fobbing me off with ' there's upgrades to signal in the area' etc.
2 weeks ago I rang them again after having calls disconnect upon answer, which I've spent 20 minutes in a queue for.
3 times the conversations with Three cut out and they had to ring me back.
Their signal coverage for my area shows full inside and out, which is why I got them.
After a lot of to and fro the lad said yes, the signal is bad in my area.
He then said they'll knock £5 a month off my bill to compensate!?
So they accept I have problems using the phone but £5 discount makes it all better?

If I want to leave the contract now, 6 months early, it'll cost me £360 they say.

Is there anything in consumer law about if I'm not receiving the service I pay for I must pay to cancel.

    Thank you.
