It's ongoing, any prosecution won't be until next year now.

That is the third person who has received that email that I am aware of. Haven't had anyone say they have received the cheque yet though.

I don't expect to get anything from him in the next 3 or 4 years so 3 or 4 days is somewhat optimistic! Ill keep you updated next week when I haven't heard!

Well unless its a rubber cheque I may have been too hasty.
An extra quid and a passport holder too. Maybe he's turned over a new leaf and wants to be everyone's friend!!

Premier Mobile Phones Ltd was dissolved in 2011. Presumably Metro Bank are unaware.

It's actually still going, just changed it's name to five star doggy day care.

It's actually still going, just changed it's name to five star doggy day care.

If the company name has changed so should the bank account name for money laundering purposes. Metro or any bank wouldn't allow it if they knew.

I suppose he could be using an old cheque book - yet to see if the cheques bounce or not. However the letters state categorically the payments are from a company called ' Premier Mobile Phones Ltd' which is a misrepresentation as the company ceased to be called that in Feb.

Lets not highlight the wrongs in banking under the old company name too hastily. Ive banked the cheque this morning so lets see if it clears first!!

Well its been a week and the cheque hasn't bounced yet so all I can say is Yippeee I got one over on him.
