My friend lost her house to a repossession order nearly 18 months ago. A secured loan should have been cleared but the house went to a quick sale auction. Now Elderbridge are coming at her for £28,000. No pre -action protcol was taken. The auction house and estate agent have cashed in .There was a mortgage of £95k to settle and a secured loan of £28k. The house sold for £143k ..There should have been money back to my friend not the other way round?

Sorry no secured lending stands and if house repossessed sold etc the debt stands and she officially owes.Elderbridge rates charges etc should be looked at and she could raise case at the way loan notice and charges handled depending on her contract with them
