  • Hoist Finance not responding to default removal for over 60 days now?

I had a default with Barclays Partner Finance, they sold it to Hoist Finance (Robinson Way).

They have now removed it as it irresponsible lending and in the letter said Robinson Way can now remove it, I sent this letter to Hoist in early December, along with proof BPF have removed the default from my credit file (Hoist can also check this by pulling my latest report). I have sent countless letters, they have ignored every single one, submit a complaint to both Hoist Portfolio and Robinson Way on 23rd December and they've not even said anything or acknowledged my complaints.

What can I do from here? This is becoming silly now, they're not even responding, I've called and they just say they'll investigate and call me back and never do.

I think FOS will struggle to deal with this type of issue. I have seen many cases go to the FOS, i have yet to see one succeed. They FOS work on different principles to the Courts, they work on what is fair and just, and reasonable etc. That doesnt help when youre arguing the data is inaccurate contrary to the GDPR. Have a read through Grace and Blackhorse, linki n my signature, that case will hopefuly give you some pointers, id go back to hoist with a robust letter spelling out where you stand and what you want from them
