I have used Mayhew referenced template letters when replying to DCAs and First Credit (the current account owner) letters. They have worked.

The Mayhew references work as follows. A mild, gentle reminder is referenced as Mayhew1. The reference number grows when letters get more assertive, depending how much garbage DCAs/debt purchasers use. Should we publish some of those templates here?

It depends on the source really, you will have to give credit for any work published on here, so much depends on where the letters come from really.

i have just recently dealt with such a claim brought by Arrow Global in the County Court. We successfully beat the Claimant at trial and had a declaration given that the agreement was unenforceable and furthermore costs were awarded against the Claimant.
That is music to many pairs of ears including my own! Every time you beat them you give so many people a good night’s sleep.
