Hello, can anyone give me any advice please, does a will have to be in a legal surname, like this person who is named in a will only took this name for gain, example woman moves in with ill man starts using is surname is then put in is will in this name but was receiving her pension in her own surname

It's not illegal to use a different surname as long as it isn't done for fraud or some other criminal purpose. It's more a factual question that depends on the specific circumstances, whether the Executors are satisfied that she is the person named as a beneficiary in the will.All opinions expressed are based on my personal experience.
