  • Wills and Probate

    Scottish law.
A relative, with no children/wife has died with a will in place.
....What is to stop the executor (without a will would be sole receiver ) stating there is no will at Probate.
.....At what point would we know about this .
    .....Anything we can do

There is no communication at all from executor so just looking at scenarios atm.
We do know that the will has been stored with will storage, due to paperwork we had.

Any advice would be really appreciated.

If you have not sighted the will how do you know who the executor is? It could be you.

If you know the will is in storage, you should write to them asking if the will is still in their possession. .
