    Good afternoon
    could someone please tell me my father recently passed away at the beginning of the year well has been read and probate has been granted my brother who is not a beneficiary in the will has come forward is to ask for a copy of the will we believe that he may be thinking about contesting how long after he has requested a copy of the will does he need to contact to let us know if he is going to take this matter any further is there a set time frame

    If he is not a beneficiary he is not entitled to a copy from the executor

      True, but he is able to get a copy from the probate registry

        Someone can put a claim in but it has to be within six months from the date probate was granted.

          But the court has discretion to extend the limitation period!
