  • VODAFONE

    Hi All,
I took vodafone contract out with phones 4 u, who advised me by taking the insurance I could upgrade in the 15th month rather then the 18th month, so I upgraded in the 15th month which was I think around July last year. Yesterday I looked at my on-line account with vodafone and it says I am in a 20 month contract as the 2 months I upgraded in early roll on to my next contract - I was not once imformed of this? Do I have any legal write to finish my contract at the end of the 18 months???

Also I tool out Vodafone mobile internet in March last year, I only wanted a 12 month contract but was told I could only have it on a 18 month contract, as I am impatient and already thought everything with vodafone was ok I agreed, looking at this yesteday it's in fact a 24 month contract, Which I never would of agreed too. Do I have anywhere to stand with this?

Vodafone say I'd of received confirmation for all of this which I never had, maybe 1 I could think got lost but think 2 is pushing.

    Thanking everyone in advance!!!

    Re: VODAFONE

It is up to you to ensure that you understand the details of any contracts you are entering into. Even if you were not fully aware, you appear to have had plenty of time to acquaint yourself with the details, the first one being July last year and the mobile internet being March last year.

I know it is probably not what you want to read, but I do not believe that you could convince Vodafone, or a court should you take it that far, that you did not know what you had done in each case.

Why do you want to leave Vodafone now, having been with them for this long?

      Re: VODAFONE

I've never received a contract from vodafone it was all done over the phone, they are also saying they can not go back and listen to calls dating so far back.

I would happily stay with vodafone if they answered your calls within 20 minutes & if you didn't go through all the options and then get disconnected & if they sort out my issues.
