  • Reducing Bandwith

Hi all i have recently signd up with bt for broadband package 3 i think which is unimited downloads subject to fair usage.

Now i have only been with bt for about 2 months and because i download alot of games via the internet they have decided to reduce my bandwith i.e my internet connection is greatly reduced.

Now when this first happened i rang the BT broadband support who didnt help a bit but they said call this numbr and subscribe and they can help you further.

So i did still unaware that my connecton was low because they had reduced it and i spoke to someone who told me to use this service you have to sign up to a contract or 12 months at £8.99 a moth and if i did they would be able to help.

So i did but did it help no, so i registered a fault due to slow connction, was passed to right peple and was sorted (remember that these people would of been able to see that my bandwith was reduced because of high downloads but did they tell me that no).

So the speed got fixed the next day and i continued to download games then yet again my speed was greatly reduced so i rand the help support again and the nice guy at the other end told me it was reduced because of the fair ussage and i was downloading to much qwite convinent after i signd up to this 12 month contract after them stating they would fix my problem.

And still to this day my speed s greatly reduce when downladng but stll no letter from BT explaning why. OMFG

    This is an oxymoron.

What do they consider to be "fair usage"?
