Hi,

I am having real difficulties with getting a default which has appeared on my credit file from Orange :cry: - Has anyone any ideas on the best way to do this?

Hi LLM can you give us some background.

Is this a current contract?
Have you spoke to Orange? if so what did they say?
Have you missed any payments?
When was the default issued?

The more info and background you can give the better.

I used to deal with many such issues when I worked for Orange in the Executive Office. There are ways and means of getting around such a situation.

Can you post some details regarding the charges that you incurred?

Were the calls to numbers outside the UK?
Had you requested the International call bar to be removed from your phone?
When you were credit checked were you credit checked for Roaming?
How long had you had the contract?
Was payment on the account up to date?
Can you recal where you were and can you prove this when the calls were made. The relevance of this is that Orange can identify where the phone was when the calls were made.

Any other information may help me to assist you.
