Lee Vodafone Company Rep
Guess what? Vodafone have something for pay and go customer's called Freedom Freebies and my friend pays her £20 a month and gets confirmation. However, yet again, it appears to have come up short and is apparently charging her for texts which means that the 30p she might have had as credit(might even have been for previous complaints) means it is at nowt again.
My advice to her was to go into a physical Vodafone shop cos they will want to resolve this issue face to fact. However, it appears that they really do not give a monkey's about resolving this issue and want to sell her a contract phone or offer her things that will cost her. In fact, they are happy for HER to ring customer services and then want to charge her for the privilege. Lee, what is going on with Vodafone Customer Service and the shop level? These are the people that are YOUR face on the high street. These are YOUR people that supposedly are there to ensure that the key things that Vodafone want are there. Recommending Vodafone to their friends for the level of care and the high level of service that they receive at your branch. Following on from that is that you Retain their custom and ultimately they will go to your shop, online/branch and repurchase from you.
At the moment, you are moving down to the level of banks who only give a damn about you buying products from them and NOT helping the existing customer with their issue. Lee, I'd email you but you've got her complaint and telephone number on file and a look down this thread will provide information.
I have now recommended to her that she looks around for other companies that do similar deals to Vodafone and to take her business somewhere else where perhaps their products do not cause her this much grief and where the customer service level is higher than the one that she has experienced with the branch shop today. Lee, it's over to you to speak with my friend directly. You need to speak with her to make sure that you do value her custom with you because quite frankly, today's example stank....
