  • Cancelling Car insurance when VTing a car?

Hey so I'm thinking of VTing my small Citroen C1 in November.

My current comprehensive car insurance is due to expire in July.

Does anyone think that I should switch to a short term insurance provider once it expires?

Or do you think once I get a new 12 month insurance in July, will I be able to cancel insurance after just 3-4 months of using it, without any fines/fees?

    Thank you and stay safe!

Yes you can cancel but they will calculate what is due at their short term rate then refund the difference.

Thank you! Did you have to pay any fees for leaving?
