Returned VT car today-v5

Hi, returned my car to auction house today after VT.

the site I returned to just holds them until there picked up and distributed to other auction houses.

the guy who sorted me out said they keep the whole V5 and the main auction house will deal with it.

i am a bit dubious about this and have all the relevant details offt the V5.

was just going to use DVLA online service and fill out the change of ownership to Motor Trader.

any thoughts?

Yes change it on line, you are no longer the keeper. Someone could use it and get no end of tickets on it.

You should have kept a portion of the V5.

Did you take pictures of the car to show it was in good condition.

i will update now online with the dvla.

yes I have taken nearly 100 picture of car and all paperwork spare keys etc.

the V5 thing did throw me a bit, but I have a copy with all relevant numbers so will not have an issue informing DVLA online.
