  • Debt recovery but no original PCN or windshield notice?

My girlfriend received a debt recovery letter from Debt Recovery Plus on 12/02/2021 for a parking charge from Euro Car Parks but there was no original parking notice charge letter received nor was there any windshield notice? The machines on the day were also not working (albeit online paying was available). They have substantially increased the cost of this even over the high parking charge notice to £170 from £100. This is for parking that took place in November so surely without an original PCN being received within a reasonable timeframe (or at all!) and using debt recovery is completely invalid?

Any advice or help writing a dispute letter would be hugely appreciated! I shall attach the letter also.

So has the girlfriend moved and not informed the DVLA about the change?

What is the address on the V5?

So it turns out the logbook had an old address unfortunately and has moved since so she has now applied for a new one with the correct address. Is this going to be hard to challenge in this case with Euro car parks/Debt recovery?

Letter to DRP denying the debt and telling them to return it to their client.

SAR to ECP for all the documents concerning your girlfriend and the VRM of the car. Hopefully the original PCN will turn up

I think it shouldn't be very difficult. Haven't you solved the problem yet?
