Hello, we are G-parents to 2 granddaughters living with us, we are around 8 weeks away from the SGO being granted in court. However, we are having a lot of trouble with a children's social worker; everybody else has been great, but the unprofessionalism, lies, general rudeness, obnoxiousness are too much for us to bear this person in our home. There's a current complaint against him, so I would like to ask for this advice: Do we have any rights to ask for a new social worker for the remainder of the time, due to the issues with this person?
Unfortunately, he tries to sabotage things when we have glowing reports to the contrary, and all because we have questioned things he's done along the way, we feel he is trying to make things difficult to either wind us up or cause trouble, or try to ruin the SGO.
    Thank you in advance.

Of course you can complain and make that request.

I cannot say what the outcome may be.

Hi, yes I have already complained, what my question was; Can I request a new social worker for the remaining time?

I have answered that question. If you read to the end of the first sentence of my previous reply you will see that it concludes with the words "and make that request".

Thank you, I just wondered if I was entitled to request a new social worker. I know you stated I can make the request, are there no rules on whether I can actually have one,
