  • Home Rights Act and Land Registry

Hi, will keep it simple. House is in my name, I'd agreed (ex) husband and 17yo to remain in the house until next May / June when A-levels are complete but now I need the finances. I have 2 young children with me (all same dad). He is claiming Home Rights to remain and refusing estate agent entry and also said he will remain until we divorce but won't agree on finances - he wants 50/50. Can he legally not allow any viewings and prevent the house sale if I was to accept an offer (if the agencies manage to get in to allow viewings!). He has savings and a house he owns in his own name with tenants in. I'm renting (moved out of the area).
