    Unfortunately this is a very grey and uncertain area of law. Ultimately it would depend on how the house is used. If in the future you decided to sell the property, your wife may be entitled to a percentage of the sale price if she contributed to the purchase price. If the house is used as the family home, your wife may be entitled to a share in the sale price if you get divorced. The family court also has the option to permit your wife to stay in the house with the children, if that would be the less disruptive option. Depending on the situation, your wife may be entitled to a share of the house, but this area of law is not clear cut. Apologies I could not provide more clarity.
