Hi, I've only used this site once before and the help and responses were so helpful, so thank you.
I work for a very large global company at this particular branch there is and has far as I can tell a history of a bullying culture, seems little gets out to the ears of the main offices.
Having witnessed so much bullying by managers, i now have succumbed my myself, i hava been signed off for a few months with work related stress, having a massive anxiety attack bought on by a managers actions, im with a union, lookng at a collective grievance rather than single, but this particular manager has had so many grievances swept under rug, had many courses it seems to avoid any serious action. Again after so many complaints, and more grievances, the company still will not take any serious action. I'm back at work, anxious, very angry, having medication, and seemingly running out of options. I just want justice, not just for me but the many colleagues that have been through it, going through it and no doubt will be having same issues.
feeling virtually helpless, I want to write a letter to head office and or other higher offices detailing what's been happening, the bullying, the consistent flow of grievances, the persistant covering up and a very unhelpful and company driven HR.
The inaction to deal with these problems that are causing alot of employees to leave, go off long term sick with stress, depression. It is my view that someone could eventually take their own life, and that in my view would make the company at fault due to their lack of obligation the the safety of their employees.
I know they would just attribute it to outside events etc. I Just want accountability.
would writing such a letter be a breach of anything ? I know my specific branch msnsgement would villify me, that bothers me not, id be more concerned about the safety of my job.
Having over 10 years service, a model employee,
sorry such a long post, im just really struggling to hold it all together whilst trying to at least help cure the agregious behaviour that's creating a very toxic work environment.
thank you.
