Hi, I’ve recently applied for a job and been unsuccessful on the grounds that I have not completed an apprenticeship in a relevant discipline.
I have however completed all relevant and necessary training and can prove experience etc which demonstrates I have what is needed for the role which exceeds the level and experience I would have had through an apprenticeship.
My question: is the employer allowed to not even offer an interview based on this one fact alone?
hope that makes sense.
cheers
