My company is requesting a full breakdown of my late adult autism diagnosis and have requested that I provide them with a copy of the full report that was done to confirm that I am neurodivergent. I am not happy providing this as it has a lot of personal information from my childhood that I do not want to share with my current employer. They want it so sort out any accommodations I may need in a time of change within the company as they were were bought out and I am not fitting into the new regime. What do I legally have to provide them with?

what i found just the info in internet, it seems you not obligated to disclose them all history of your past, and detais of report, only the information you think needed for your requested resonable udjustmens. but first make sure you have their request in righting what exaclty they asking for and why. So if you asking to remove or avoid something which disturbs you or you not capable to do because of this disability and its posible and reasonable, i think they should grant it

Bachbabe please be cautious about information just trawled from the internet unless it is from a respective source.
You are not legally required to provide your employer with a full diagnostic report or detailed personal history. Under the Equality Act 2010, your late adult autism diagnosis may be considered a disability if it has a substantial and long-term effect on your ability to carry out day-to-day activities. Your employer can ask for proof of diagnosis, but this does not mean you must disclose sensitive personal details. A simple confirmation letter of your diagnosis from either your GP or consultant should be sufficient.
If you employer is requesting information in order to be able to assess what reasonable adjustments need to be made to assist you in your job role then this should focus on the functional impact of the condition rather than the medical history. If your employer wants to explore this further they can easily do this by sending you for an occupational health (OH) assessment.
I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.
I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
