  • please help.. Claim form for Very/littlewoods

    hi please help.

my wife has received a county court claim form on behalf of lowells.

the alarming this is that it's dated 4th december.

what should we do? she's trying to ring the court now. the timeframe will have passed.

the claim is for unpaid amounts to her credit account with very.

    how should we proceed immediately?

    thanks

Try to log in on moneyclaim online using the details on the front of the claim form - that should show the status of the claim - they may already have obtained a default judgment ( they'd have been eligible to ask for judgment around 20th Dec - but possible they haven't as the Christmas period - if it is still open to you to acknowledge the claim then do that - intend to defend in full - don't enter any defence - just acknowledge - and then we can look at the claim and make sure you get defence filed by around 6th Jan )

if they do have default judgment post back and might be able to look at applying to set aside
