PRA Group Civil National Business Centre Claim on behalf of Barclaycard

Hello Everyone,

I'm new so here we go. I have received a letter in a brown envelope from the Civil National Business Centre claimant is PRA Group, original debt was Barclaycard. I sent them a SAR request and a CCA request with £1 postal order. All they have sent me back is the £1 postal order, some print offs of account payments some 5 years ago and a copy of the original agreement which is not signed by me or them. I can post their letter and the ones I have sent them. What is my best course of action now? I always thought that without a signed agreement then the debt is unenforceable, however, I maybe wrong?

Any help would be gratefully received as I have 28 days to reply but am on holiday in 2 weeks.

On 09/05/2011 the defendant entered into an agreement with Barclays Bank UK PLC for a credit card under reference 100677425. On 08/02/2018 the defendant defaulted on the agreement with an outstanding balance of £10583.57. On 19/12/2019 the debt of £9266.66 was assigned to PRA Group (UK) Limited, who itself assigned the debt to PRA Group UK portfolios Ltd on 30/12/2023. The notices of assignment were sent to the defendant in accordance with S136 Law of Property Act 1925. The claimant has instructed PRA Group (UK) limited to act on its behalf in the recovery of outstanding debt and to pursue litigation on its behalf.
